A Japanese studio morning glory vase, by Fukagawa, Meiji period (1868-1912), circa 1890s, of waisted trumpet form, decorated in underglaze blue, enamels and gilding with scrolling morning glory flowers and foliage. Mount Fuji mark and 'Fukagawa zo' in underglaze blue to the base, 31 cm high, 15 cm diameter.
