A large Philippine Islands wooden ceremonial spoon, Ifugao people, 19th/early 20th century, carved with a standing human figure finial, with a fine old patina. Together with a black metal stand, the spoon 24 cm high, 8.5 cm wide. With stand 24.5 cm high. Provenance: Gordon Menzie, Portland Oregon, Seattle after 1970.
