An Arts & Crafts copper box commemorating the hallmarked sterling Foudroyant, the hinged lid embossed with an image of the ship and her dates 1798 and 1897. The ship's name to the front, raised on four splayed copper riveted legs. 26 x 17 x 12 cm. Note: it is recorded that many items were made from materials recovered from the wreck.
