A Ming Dynasty Longquan celadon tripod censer, heavily potted circular with curved walls and flattened rim, raised on three mask and paw feet, unglazed circular rondel underneath. The walls carved with pattern of Ba Gua (eight Trigrams) below sixteen small florets. Considerable craquelure to the glaze and fine hairlines to rim. 16th/17thC.
