A pair of Chinese yellow ground iron red 'Xi' bowls (Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi mark). Decorated with red 'Xi' (happiness) characters on a bright yellow ground. The cavetto undecorated. 6-character Guangxu marks in underglaze blue. Labels of Spink & Son Ltd. Condition: a hairline crack inside one cup of the two. Height 6.5 cm, depth 10.6 cm
