Magnificent and large pair of Chinese late Qing Dynasty ivory figures, following the natural form, one depicting Kwan Yin standing and wearing a robe with peacock design, with one hand behind her back holding a staff and flowers, the other hand to the front holding a basket of flowers, the other figure in the form of a warrior, depicted standing with sword clasped to the front wearing military dress and peacock feathers to the back, incised character marks to base, on stands height 64 cm and 67 cm (not including stands) (2)
