George III sterling silver & glass sugar basket, hallmarked London, 1802, makers mark rubbed, the body of pierced lattice form, decorated with swags, acanthus leaf and masks above vertical reeding, with original ruby glass lining and an intertwining handle, raised on a circular foot with repousse floral work above a slender square pedestal, engraved 'April 3rd 1894' to foot, weight 279gm (without liner), height to rim 12.5 cm x diameter 10.5 cm
