A superb 18th century carved architectural panel, the stone tool carved panel with a wheku head to the lower section with open mouth with protruding tongue and with rauponga carved detailing. The upper section of the panel with a pair of outward facing manaia below a small central wheku head and a side profile manaia. The panel is further carved with an abstract face in side profile and a small inverted face beneath a tapering apex which possibly accommodated a tekoteko figure, 130 x 32 cm
