A good Papua New Guinea Siassi Kundu drum, the wooden drum beautifully carved with clan motifs, the handle flanked by carved heads in high relief. The head covered in reptile skin. Provenance: collected from Kaiapit village where it had been traded inland before roads existed in the region.
