Originally designed in 1951, modified from a Gio Ponti designed form the Architettura cabinet is one of Piero Fornasetti's finest pieces. This piece dates from 1996 and is in superb original condition, an example held in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago, similar example illustrated: B.
