French Aesthetic movement gilt and silvered brass mantel clock, by Achille brocot, pairs, c. 1880, eight-day gong striking movement with anchor escapement, the pagoda shape case with Japonisme style decoration of geisha, the sides with floral sprays and birds, the silvered dial with Roman numerals, backplate stamped 'Ab' and numbered, key and pendulum, height 49 cm.
