A good large 19th century Swiss music box, the walnut hinged lid with marquetry inlay of a guitar and florals, original faux grain rosewood satinwood strung sides, winged angel mask escutcheon. The lid interior with original twelve song card, bearing ink number '42256'. Crank action mechanism with all 62 teeth intact, two levers marked 'Change/repeat' and 'Stop/Play'. 61 x 29 x 16.5 cm. Working.
