Provenance: R and V Tregaskis, Sydney, 1 August 1992 (receipt) Exhibitions and Publications: Innovation and Continuity: 20th Century Chinese Ceramics, Asian Arts Institute of Australia, Sydney: 2012, Exhibition Number 22, p. 25 In the Asian Arts Institute of Australia catalogue, it is noted that this vase is an example of 'Liu Shaoqi wares', ceramics that were made to showcase the craftsmanship that could be produced in the People's Republic of China.
