A Colonial Australian wine table, solid huon pine top with blackwood column and feet and pine platform base, Tasmanian origin, circa 1820. 73 cm high, 59 cm diameter. Accompanied by a hand-written note advising that the table was made by Michael Barr, around 1820. The table remained with the Barr family in Tasmania, until the 1950s, when they moved to Gippsland.
