A three piece George III sterling silver tea service, 1817 London, with maker's mark for Jeremiah Garfield with pellet, comprising a teapot, generous sugar basin and creamer of ribbed and compressed boat shape form, with applied gadroons, shell and acanthus corners to the rim, the teapot with a square section '7' shape handle with stiff leaf thumb spur, the basin and creamer with rosettes to the handles, gilt washed to the creamer and basin and all raised on ball feet; hallmarked, silver weight 1444gr, height 16 cm, width 31 cm, (teapot)
