Two similar late Victorian sterling silver pendant sovereign cases, one by Minshull & Latimer, Birmingham, 1888, the other Alfred Wigley, Birmingham, 1900, each circular with a hinged cover enclosing a spring loaded holder, the reserve to the centre of the cover of one engraved with initials, the other plain, each otherwise engraved throughout with stylized foliate decoration, total weight 36g, diameter 3 cm
