Fine string bag, Western Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, woven plant fibre (no custom stand) string bag, looped, with dyed string (red) made from inner bark of the Kurrajong. The handle is made of multi stranded vegetable fibre string attached to the rim on opposite sides of the bag. Length 55 x 26 cm. Provenance: Sharon Monty, Perth. Private collection, South Australia
