Rare hafted steel fighting pick, Central Australia, carved hardwood, steel, spinifex resin and natural pigments (with custom stand) a hafted pick made with a metal head. It is secured with resin to a handle made from a single piece of wood bent around head and coated with natural pigment of red ochre. Length 44 x 18 cm.
