Fine hooked boomerangs, Tennant Creek, Northern Territory, carved and engraved hardwood and natural pigment (with custom stand) as the hook caught on the edge of the shields, causing the boomerang to swing around behind it. These were finely fluted on their upper surfaces with reverse adzed markings and rubbed with red ochre. Extra decoration was added to the head only. Length 71 x 19.5 cm.
