A pair of clip-on flame earrings, Trifari. Gold tone. Size 28 x 22 mm. Founded in 1910 by Gustavo Trifari, Trifari has built its reputation as one of the most admired producers of costume jewellery in the US. The company has designed jewellery for famous actors and other high-profile clients including Mamie Eisenhower and Madonna. One of the contributing factors to Trifari's success is their use of 'Trifanium', their own non-tarnishing gold tone alloy used in their jewellery designs.
