A tooled butterflies necklace, Paco Rabanne. Consisting of three butterflies, hung from two parallel chains. Silver tone. Chain length 52 cm. Butterflies length 11 cm. Box. Paco Rabanne begun his career by designing jewellery for Givenchy, Dior and Balenciaga, then founded his own fashion house in 1966. He used many unconventional materials including metal, paper and plastic to create his flamboyant designs. One of the principles of his style was the use of rigid materials held together by metallic rings or rivets. Unique materials and innovative designs are what makes his pieces so sought after to this day.
