An agate necklace, Christian Dior. Featuring a 58 mm brown and white agate stone, accented with crystals, hung from a fine chain. Silver tone. Chain length 46 cm including safety chain. Box and pouch. Christian Dior believed that jewellery was as much a part of fashion as clothing. Dior's jewellery was designed in detail for each of his collections, not as a discreet finishing touch, but rather as a statement, without worry of undermining the clothing.
