A Japanese studio blue and white vase, by Takahashi Dohachi III (1811-1879), of baluster form in late Ming style, with two mask and ring handles to the neck, and landscape decoration to one side with calligraphic inscription to the reverse. Six character mark to the base reading 'Kachutei Dohachi Zo', 26 cm high, 11 cm diameter.
