A Japanese studio blue and white dragon bowl, by Takahashi Dohachi III (1811-1879), decorated in late Ming Imperial style with two five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst stylised clouds to the exterior, and a flaming pearl to the interior. Six character mark reading 'Kachutei Dohachi Zo' to the base, 9 cm high, 22 cm diameter.
