A large Japanese Arita blue and white dish, Edo period (1603-1868), 1670-1690, decorated with chrysanthemums and waves to the centre, and with cherry blossoms amongst clouds to the cavetto, the reverse decorated with scrolling flowers. Four stilt marks to the base, 5 cm high, 28.5 cm diameter.
