A Japanese Ko-Imari blue and white dish, Edo period (1603-1868), 1750-1780, in Shonsui style, with a flower-form rim and the cavetto decoration with moulded and painted chrysanthemum petals, and decoration to the interior of a seated Taoist sage and poetic inscription. Spur marks to the base, 3.5 cm high, 21 cm diameter.
