A Japanese cast iron Tetsubin, Edo period (1603-1868), cast in iron and worked on the surface with elegant design of grapes and vines, the upper shoulders in a raised hobnail finish, classic upright handle and pine cone finial atop the lid. Raised characters to the underside, 26 cm high, 21 cm wide.
