A Japanese ceremonial wood child's sword, Edo (1603-1868) / Meiji period (1868-1912), comprising a Saya decorated in Nashiji lacquer and gilt mounts with stylised chrysanthemum fittings, the Tsuka (hilt) in a traditional wrapped style over Samegawa (ray skin), gold lacquered tsuba, Fuchi and Kashira fittings with short wooden blade, 79 cm long.
