A collection of Japanese smoking implements, Meiji period (1868-1912), 19th century, an assortment of three charming natural wood tonkotsu with accompanying netsuke toggles, the first a burlwood mixing bowl and dragon netsuke signed Gyokusho, the second a wooden tonkotsu with red lacquer highlight and netsuke in the shape of an offering bowl, the third a polished burlwood tonkotsu with ensuite staghorn netsuke, the fourth a naturally carved wooden Senryu-zutsu case and burlwood tonkotsu, the largest 22 cm long.
