Three Japanese lacquer Inro, Edo period (1603-1867) and Meiji period (1868-1912), the first a four case inro on a gold ground with gold and polychrome makie figure carrying a torch in ocean waves and on reverse a temple with steps going down to the water, the second a four case inro of ferrymen pulling their boat on shore, with river and foliage and accompanying staghorn netsuke of a man with his umbrella, the third a five-case inro on a Kinji ground depicting a Noh actor on stage, with ensuite staghorn netsuke of a Reishi mushroom, the inros 8 cm x 5.5 cm, 7.5 cm x 5.5 cm & 9 cm x 5 cm.
