Swat valley softwood dowery chest North West Pakistan, 19th century, mixed patina from dark areas of burnishing to light areas that have been cleaned. Wear to front freeze where carving definition is lost. Block feet mostly intact with only a couple of areas of loss. The lock with a couple of old retired splits. 95 cm wide x 51 cm deep x 84 cm high. Provenance: The Collection of the Late Richard Green, Sydney
