Description:
Two piece Georgian Castleford tea set including teapot and sugar bowl, white stoneware decorated in relief with neo-classic subjects. Teapot has a sliding lid, and together with the sugar bowl, bears a continuous band of acanthus leaf moulding, and outlined in dark blue enamel line. Circa 1810. Small chip to the tip of the thumb rest on the teapot handle. Certificate of Authenticity available from The Antique Porcelain Gallery, Sydney. Height 15 cm teapot
