Bronze Kantharos cup, in a patinated finish, modelled after the original silver examples unearthed during excavations in Pompeii during the 19th century, the large tapering body decorated in high relief with centaurs and cherubs, between two slender vertical handles surmounting the rim, mounted upon a high domed circular foot with foliate motif, a/f (break to handle), height 30 x width 35 cm
