A Japanese modernist 'Saiyu' vase, Tokuda Yasokichi III (1933-2009); Showa period (1926-1989); the slender-necked porcelain vase covered in glazes in the manner of a colour field painting, signed to base. Height 26 cm, diameter 9.5 cm. Other Notes: this is an early period work by the artist, before he was designated Living National treasure in 1997.
