New South Wales Sheffield shield XI: Queensland, November 1929: the official NSW team photograph by Sidney Riley, Brisbane, with Oldfield as Captain and young Don Bradman next to Arthur Mailey in the front row. Laid down on the original backing card, overall 30 x 38 cm. While Victoria won the shield, Bradman scored the most runs in the whole competition, 894.
