Rifle Club Award: a 9ct gold badge (10.0gms) engraved verso 'S.E.D.R.C. Union 1923: Championship of rifle: won by A.E.M. Forster: presented by G. Ward.', Mr Alfred Edwin Moore Forster, 63, died in the Naracoorte Hospital on November 22, 1936. He was the third Son of the late Mr. J. G. Forster. A pioneer South-Eastern resident, who followed farming at Lochaber for a number of years, as well as residing in other parts of the South-East. He was a good rifle shot, and had been Captain, secretary, and president of the Naracoorte Rifle Club at different periods. The 'S.E.D.R.C.' of the engraving refers to the South-Eastern District Rifle Club Union.'.
