Large Chinese famille vert porcelain vase, of baluster form leading to a flaring cylindrical neck set with twin elephant mask handles, the body decorated with various figures including immortals, elders and court figures between decorative foliate and geometric borders, featuring six shaped reserves to the shoulder containing beasts below butterflies and shou symbols to the neck between further decorative borders, in predomiant tones of green, red, purple and yellow on a light green ground, the whole raised on a tapering circular foot with six character mark to base within double rings, height 63 cm
