Magnificent and large pair of Chinese famille vert jars and covers, the domed covers set with guardian dogs above reserves of flowers, above a baluster tapering body decorated with a continuous scene of warriors on horseback amongst rocky outcrops, flowering trees and palace, surrounded by a border of reserve of kylins and flowers with lattice surround, in underglaze blue and rich tones of green, red, blue and yellow, height 89 cm (2)
