Magnificent Chinese blue & white porcelain moon flask, of compressed spherical form, the flared cylindrical neck flanked by twin stylised upside down fish handles, the body finely decorated to either side with large central roundel depicting an agricultural scene with farmer leading an oxen before a river landscape, the sides featuring a ground of stylised peony heads and shou symbols suspending chimes amongst foliate scrolls, with ruyi head borders to the foot and lip, six character mark to base, height 59 cm
