Wilfred Rhodes' Cricket Bat from 1920-21, full size 'Salmon & Co.' Cricket Bat, signed by Rhodes in the ownership position, signed on front by English & Australian teams - c28 signatures including J.W.H.T.Douglas (Captain), J.B.Hobbs, Percy fender, J.W.Hitch. Warwick Armstrong (Captain), Warren Bardsley, Jack Gregory, Jack Ryder & Arthur Mailey, the bat is re-inforced with twine at base, and shows results of heavy usage. Signatures at top are legible, lower signatures faded. (Wilfred Rhodes played 58 Tests 1899-1930, one of the greatest cricketers of the 20th century, he took more wickets in first-class cricket than anyone else in history. He is one of only three cricketers to have batted in every position, from one to eleven, in his test career).
