A pair of Chinese large Chinese soapstone standing Daoist figures of a girl and an old man, Qing Dynasty, 17th-18th century the old man is holding a double gourd and the girl is holding a ruyi sceptre. Each of the figures are mounted with an Italian gilt wood base the female figure overall: 35 cm high; the male figure overall: 33 cm high.
