A celadon jade carved of a foreigner and a dog, late Ming - early Qing Dynasty, 17th-18th century or earlier the well carved standing figure is slightly hunched, holding a lion dog in his arms, cloaked in a long hooded cape, falling in dynamic folds at the reverse, the stone of a pale white tone / 17/18 8.3 cm high.
