A white jade carved paperweight of two phoenix, Qing Dynasty, 18th-19th century the well polished jade is finely carved with a pair of phoenix side by side, with the male bird turning the head to the female, and tails joining together, each is holding a branch of lingzhi fungus in their beaks. The stone is of a white tone. 7.7 cm long, 5 cm wide. Provenance: an old Christie's label an important private collection, New South Wales, Australia.
