A Chinese rhino libation cup, late Qing Dynasty, late 19th century the cup is carved with a lotus leaf and flowers, the translucent Amber coloured horn darkening to black at the base. 11 cm long, 6.5 cm high, 85g weight. Provenance: acquired from Wong Yin Hou, Kowloon, early 1980's. The Peter Elliott Collection, Sydney, Australia. Mossgreen Sydney, 30/08/2015, lot 531.
