A porcelain painted 'Bamboo' plaque, signed Xu Zhongnan, Republic period (1912-1949) the panel is finely painted with tall bamboo sprays rising from rockwork on the edge of a lake, an inscription in black with an iron-red seal to upper left side, signed Xu Zhongnan and dated Yimao year corresponding to 1939. 1912-1949 37.2 cm high, 25 cm wide.
