A Ding foliage-rimmed dish, five Dynasties (907-960) the dish is potted with shallow rounded sides rising to a foliate rim. It is covered inside and out with a glaze of creamy-ivory tone, two characters written in black ink on the base, partially under the white glaze, which suggests that the characters were written on the body before the glaze was applied. With fitted box. 12.3 cm diameter. Provenance: Ky fine Art, Hong Kong. An important private collection, NSW, Australia.
