A rare Chinese Changsha brown and green splashed bird-form ewer and cover, Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) the bird formed ewer applied with wings on either side of the body and everted tail, decorated with alternating brown and blue streaks of glaze. 12 cm long, 11 cm high. Provenance: The Professor Conrad Harris collection of early Chinese Art, London, formed in the late 1990's to early 2000's.
