An antique French papier mache, growler, bulldog childs pull along toy, 19th century. With nodding head and pull lead mechanism which opens the dog's mouth and growls. In original working condition, with original glass eyes and wooden castor wheels, the leather and coconut husk collar with some loses, circa 1880. 29 cm high, 57 cm long
