A 19th century Swiss music box made by L.F. Geneve, playing 8 aires with ratchet lever wind. Lever operation for start, stop, change and repeat aire. Original aire sheet to the inside lid, the pin cylinder movement housed in a rosewood veneered case with boxwood and stained string inlay. Box with original locking key. Movement serial number 3,3001, circa 1870, 13 cm high, 52 cm wide, 17 cm deep
