An impressive sapphire, Argyle fancy pink diamond and diamond ring, of cluster design, centring a claw-set cushion-shaped Sri Lankan sapphire weighing 11.16 carats, framed by a line of 14 Argyle natural fancy pink brilliant-cut diamonds, further framed by an openwork scalloped surround pave-set with near colourless brilliant-cut diamonds, between shoulders pave-set with diamonds, the undercarriage decorated in an openwork scroll and foliate pattern embellished at intervals with Argyle natural fancy pink brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, the near colourless and pink diamonds together weighing approximately 0.43 carat and 2.05 carats respectively, size L., accompanied by a GIA report numbered 2175380638, dated 16 November 2015, stating that the 11.16 carat sapphire is natural, with no indications of heating, of Sri Lanka origin.
